Stella Najeong Bae
I spent 18 years building brands for global companies. Now I build them for individuals and small teams — starting from what they already have, not from what sounds impressive.

18 years in global B2B brand marketing
Hyosung Spandex, BP Castrol, and ZEISS Korea. I sold invisible things — yarn, lubricants, metrology — to demanding buyers. That is where I learned to turn value into language.

I do not stop at strategy
A brand deck changes nothing on its own. My team and I carry the standard through to content, search, the website, and internal alignment.
How I got here
I started at Hyosung Spandex, selling yarn to Lululemon and GAP. Nobody sees yarn. You cannot photograph it well or demo it. The only way to sell it was to build language around value that stays invisible — which turned out to be the most useful training I ever had.
At BP Castrol I watched how trust accumulates and how quickly it collapses. At ZEISS Korea, leading marketing for the quality solutions division, I worked with buyers like Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Motor, where brand has to show up as a number or it does not count.
Eighteen years, reduced to one line: make trust structural, and prove brand through results.
Then I left, at forty
I had thought about it for seventeen years. The first question outside the organisation was not "what should I do" but "who am I, exactly." I had built brands for other people and had no language for myself.
That gap is why Foun_D exists. Most capable people carry the same gap. They are good at what they do, and the market does not know it yet.
What I believe about branding
A brand is not what you declare. It is what stays in someone's memory. Invented impressions are expensive to maintain — you have to perform them, and the moment you slip, trust goes.
So I do not invent. I select. Out of everything a person already has, we decide what to put forward and what to set aside. What you select is already yours, so there is nothing to keep up.
And a brand is not a statement. It is accumulation. One well-written sentence does not make a brand. The same point of view, repeated across every place a customer meets you — that is what becomes recognition.
